- manual install of kernel 34rc5: not better
- manual adding of firmware: with generic kernel = ok but slow (see my other
bug), with 34rc5 same error as above (not all WiFi available)

I tried with kernel 34rc5 (latest in the mainline builds) with my actual
install (the firmware had laready been copied manually in /usr/lib...) and I
get a shorter list of available WiFi networks (in which mine is not present !!)

Hello,
I have benchmarked my wifi (WUSB54G) performances with different OSes, drivers
and kernel builds.
My conclusions are:
Windows :
- automatic driver : 1.7 Mo/s
- linksys driver : 1.7 Mo/s
Ubuntu 9.10 32bit :
- automatic driver generic kernel : 1.1 Mo/s
- automatic

I had the same bug this morning on a fresh install of beta 2 via the latest
ISO, did all available updates beforehand.
Also, I do not know if this bug was filled but installing the Nvidia driver
turns the boot and shutdown splashscreens to be zoomed and therefore blur :((
