I confirm that I was able to reproduce this on Gutsy server 64bit and
JeOS 32bit.
Work around: use apt-get install taskname^ where taskname is the name
of the task (ie lamp-server^).

Have you tried invoking tasksel with sudo ? Error 100 in aptitute makes
me think tasksel does not have enough priviledges.

Same problem on a i386 VMware. Seems that cryptsetup is needed for LVM
crypto and it is missing...

If needed, I think I have a way to reproduce it each time.
- install synergy client, make the computer the client of another
- lock the screen
- move the mouse to the other computer
- wait for time out
- move the mouse back to the test computer

Same here, and not only after suspend, almost every time the screen gets lock
due to inactivity.
What's worse is that what I am typing (and it is generally my password) gets
sent to the last app I was using

Is it normal (and absolutely necessary) that when one installs lsb, postfix is
pulled at the same time from the requirement ?
Installing a daemon is not something that trivial from a security point of view
and there are many case where lsb might be needed on a machine
