i definitely would have done that if it was my home networkunfortunately
it is my college wireless network that i'm unable to access...
so any other suggestions :)

i formated the partition and updated my grub. but no use... the problem
still remains the same...i cannot access that particular network
any more suggestions...

yes it was previously connecting to the network.
the password is also correct.
i've two ubuntu(one 10.04 & 10.04 lts) in my laptop. i can access the same
network from the LTS version but not in the other.
"Auto" is also present in the network SSID.
but still no result.i cant access that particula
the exact same thing happened to me. even my friend is also complaining
about ubuntu.
really felt bad.
when we installed ubuntu every thing was working fine until my friend boot
into wincedows. when rebooted from wincedows the exact same error occurs.

but i've already tried that. i can see the name of the wireless network,
and i've also given the pre shared key.i can see the list of wireless
networks available also. but when i select the network i want to connect to,
it simple wont connect. it continuously keeps asking for
i'm using ubutnu 10.04. till recently i had no problem at all, but from a
few days back i'm unable to connect to wireless network at all.

covered. however there is no timings info displayed for each of the
sessions.
it would be helpful if approximate time and date were also provided for each
