Steps to reproduce.
Create a new folder and open it in nautilus
Try to drag a file from from another nautilus window in to the empty folder
It is not possible, unless you create something in the folder by some
other means

metadata. The files will play in rhythmbox, but do not have any

a lenovo x230 with a completely blank disk.
I selected manual partitioning, created a swap, efi partition and a
btrfs root partition. After OKing this I get a dialog titled Force UEFI
installation, see
Gparted gives the warning Warning: The driver descriptor says the
physical block size is 2048 bytes, but Linux says it is 512 bytes.,
possibly related. Drive is a Seagate SSHD ST500LM000.

building with gstreamer does not in itself allow firefox to play h264.
it means that firefox can use the gstreamer codecs that you can install.

do you have any conversion filters on any of the feeds? I had one which
was broken (it pointed to a script that did not exist anymore). removing
this seems to have fixed the unread folder.

I have a disk that is reporting SMART problems. This is resulting in
many popups warning me of Hard Disk Problems Detected. see attached
screen shot.
I am very greatful for the message, but I only need to to tell me once

do you still have this problem? i get a message for a disk where the
spin up times is get worse, but no message for a disk that has had a few
bad sectors for a long time.

I am reverting the changes by alaa arbash (shabah-xp) because it seems
rather odd to change the package to something that seem to me unrelated,
with no comment.

not quite sure what triggers this, but sometimes i can't scroll to the
bottom a window, because the mouse reaches the bottom of the screen,
before the end of the scroll bar. i then have to let go and grab the
scroll bar higher up.
