ok, r2 panics
i'm thinking that the different stacks in one of the panics (that i
noticed) might mean there are 2 problems with the same steps to
reproduce, if you can give me instructions on how to run the series
again i can bang it out here and mind the different panic signatures
only thing
i haven't seen this in a very long time; compiz was apparently causing
some gap in the panel, though i don't see how; and that was fixed a
while ago, maybe it was the same thing and with my theme it was
something more conspicuous (white)
i dunno to invalidate this bug or fixed released; but feel
b8 does not panic
the last 3 or so revs that haven't panicked seemed to have markedly
better io throughput to the drive i am using, compared to the ones that
panic; but b8 also gave me an io error on the junk file i've been using
on the drive; i'll inspect it and see if it wasn't just the drive
ok, i also checked that drive and it was fine; but the io error was
probably a fluke

but the entire panel; create a launcher and try dropping a file on it
when the window switcher doesn't work, it's the same thing, could the
title or the initial message be amended to include this? you've marked
the other bugs
as i said in the initial message, they changed the meaning of a default
mail client to suit the contact/presence menu, if desktop-webmail is
going to return it probably needs to be able to compose directly and
start a client with a message, as that's all the other mailers require
to show up on

i reported a dup; but this happens under no special output device
circumstance, it just happens, i'll see about running it with GST_DEBUG
in a bit and add my findings

i need to learn to be less hyperbolic, i thought someone actually
removed the functionality at the time :D but, it has to do with compiz,
i don't know how; but, it works for a while, then stops working (like it
doesn't know what the cursor is over, aside from the outer window), it
works again for

i don't think the resolution is correct, and the upstream bug looks
unrelated; can someone that knows why apport marked them duplicates
manually confirm? or at least tell me how to ... this bug isn't resolved
