I think I got this error because I've restored a full backup from an
older system (Ubuntu 14). I think that this fts.index was restored from
a previous version of Ubuntu and therefore the problem started because
of this.

Open system settings - language support

missing, and if want to do it now. I did.
After that, I've checked the language tab and the regional format

There is an alternative for those who use digikam as photo management
software.
sudo apt-get install gphoto2
gphoto2 is a command line software to download images from the camera
using command line.
To download all your pictures, just open a terminal window and type:
gphoto2 --get-all-files
Sorry, I made a mistake. To delete all the files in the camera:
gphoto2 -R --delete-all-files
And that's it (this time yes).

Sound is fine when login (the Ubuntu sound sounds every time) but after
I'm logged trouble starts: I can hear music or video sound, and modify
the volume with the software controls (that is, VLC for video or
anything else for audio), but if I try to change the volume using the
hotkeys (Fn + F3/F4)
I didn't yet this latest version, but the problem was due to the fact that I
didn't define channel numbers for the channels.
To be honest myththv should not crash but should better give a clear message
what is going wrong.
