Ok, can u boot into ur Edubuntu and then go in that direcoty and delete it.
If there is more than one file distributed at many places as copy, then you
can search it in nautilus and then Delete it.
There you can also install Avast (much reliable than AVG), and I am sure it
will delete it. But sin
There is a procedure to remove this. go to google.com and search for this.
you will find the procedure how to remove it it is like a virus but not
caught by any antivirus software
