I recently set up tracker for desktop search. And it has limitations
like unable to search inside doc . So what other options that
integrate well inside the system and has more powerful search options.
i do know about google search please suggest others.

and maybe being able to read tags of mp3 music, etc

oh he meant searching for files in ubuntu?? i thought he meant he was
