Reading the bug report in bugs.debian.org helped me to solve the
problem.
I just added the line:
TerminateServer=true
to the kdmrc file

I can not test it anymore since I stopped using monodevelop and ubuntu.
But you can easyly do it by creating a program with an endless loop and
try to stop it via the stop button.

If peaple deinstall a default application they choose not to use the
kubuntu-desktop default package selection so kubuntu-desktop is removed.
If new packages are added in a new release they will not get them by
default because they choose not to use the default package selection.

kubuntu-desktop is just a meta package so if you deinstall one of it's
dependencies you don't have installed the kubuntu-desktop meta package
anymore so it will be removed. (and only kubuntu-desktop package not its
other dependencies)

Hi,
well the problem is that I could not reproduce this bug again. It only
happened once on my computer. I think it was more my fault because I had
done some updates and did not restart kde so most probable this was the
reason for that behavior.
But if you are still interested in activating
Gstreamer also was in the kubuntu distribution for some releases but
then they removed it and replaced it with xine because they got the
better results with xine.
