[ubuntu-in] An alternative to Gnome 3

Hi Am wondering how many Ubuntu users want to find an alternative to gnome 3 or even the linux mint Mate Desktop interface. I am unable to work with Gnome 3 - it sucks and is a bit too slick with not enough customization possible. But it seems help may be on its way with Cinnamon - see
