Hi have been trying to figure out how to record a live video stream on Ubuntu. Examples of some sites are http://live.indiatimes.com/ http://www.ndtv.com/video/live/channel/ndtv24x7 seems like mplayer and vlc can do the job but the latter requires defining a capture card and am not sure
