I have reorganized and redesigned the team wiki at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MarketingTeam Please explore the new pages i've created. There is a new & press page to get media coverage through press releases that could also be distributed to LoCo teams to release their own custom releases. There is a materials page where we can post materials for teams and individuals to use and create their own local-specific content from and a resources page to link to information valuable to marketing Ubuntu.
I'm hoping this will bring the marketing team back to life! After much discussion in the IRC channel, we've scheduled a meeting for Wednesday, February 27th at 00:00 UTC. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MarketingTeam/Meetings/Minutes/2008-02-27 Will someone be able to log the meeting? We will discuss plans for a Hardy Release Campaign as well as a plan for regular meetings. Please contribute to the agenda.
