This is just to notify that I will be missing in action for a month
starting from tomorrow (16th). I will not be able to respond to emails
in month of May but should be able to respond in month of June.
Regular MOTU activity will start sometime in second half of Jun

totem-gstreamer, mplayer, VLC. xine based players are not affected.
I myself have broken dvd playback after the migration to libdvdread4.
But it looks like the playback is not broken for everybody and for all
DVD types. I h

Hi all,
Just wanted to give a notification. I am working on merge of
libdvdread from Debian unstable. There are bunch of
reverse-build-depends which will need to be rebuild. I could use one
or more helping hands.
The bug is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdvdread/+bug/330684

No. These are not dependencies of Anjuta. These are dependencies of
the project you are trying to create. Anjuta on it's own does

Try changing mirror. The us.archive.ubuntu.com is known to be broken

I guess you are talking about this bug -
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/imagej/+bug/294753
Since the package is not modified in Ubuntu, I have forwarded the bug
to Debian. If Debian package maintainers agree on the suggestion
provided in the bug then it will be fixed there and also in n

Hi all,
Emmit Hikory (persia) had asked me to send this mail long time back.
But I couldn't do so as I didn't have any access to gmail from office
and no internet connection at home.
I hope it is not too late to request a debconf preseed on buildd if it
fixes a FTBFS.

Hi all,
As per my discussion with ´persia´ on #ubuntu-motu channel I am
proposing here removal of redundant java compilers/runtimes. The focus
of this mail is sun-java5-* packages and kaffe.
Reasons for phasing out sun-java5-* and kaffe.
