As you all are probably aware, the Karmic Koala repositories are now
open. This means that it is time to start reviewing the packages on
REVU [1][2]. For Jaunty, we had weekly REVU days every Friday. These
were very successful, and resulted in many packages getting reviewed

Yes, REVU days are back! I have planned on this Wednesday, May 14, 2008 to be
the first REVU day for the Intrepid cycle. So if it is Wednesday, May 14, 2008
in your neck of the woods, then it is REVU day.
As for the schedule for REVU days, I would like to know which day is best

As you may have seen in the recent MOTU meeting minutes, we decided to
make REVU days every Monday. This ensures that there is no confusion as
to when attention should be given to REVU, and gives package uploaders a
clear idea of when

the next REVU days will be tomorrow on Monday, July 16th and one week later on
July the 23rd. Again we'll be trying to flood the new queue by reviewing as
many packages on REVU as possible, giving immiediate feedback to the package
creators.
If you are an ubuntu developer, please come
requesting that the MOTU that uploads the approved package also sends an
email to this lists with a subject line something to the effect of
REVU: packagename uploaded. This will really help with the stats
gathering and I'll be able to put together a report after the REVU Days
are finished.

during our MOTU meeting Daniel T Chen had the awesome idea of having not
only one REVU day, but two have a
Three day REVU sprint!
We'll be reviewing packages for three full days (from Dec 20th to Dec
22nd) and invite you to join us and help us out.
