Ubuntu Touch depends on some Android. There is no way to work around
that.

It would be great if there is some possibility like

to compile Ubuntu Touch without using all that android stuff.
Looked at most of the howtos but could not
I no longer have a device capable of Ubuntu touch, for this reason I would

Hey everyone.
We started this new week analyzing what happened since Friday evening.
We noticed a regression in the Unity 8 tests which happened on the 4
images produced. This was due to python-gi. Martin found the guilty
commit and reverted it. We are just reckiking an image and hope for

Can community publish images like Canonical do it? So, community will receive
manta/grouper/maguro images like earlier, but not from Canonical servers, but
community server.

with the recent update about supported devices for Ubuntu phones/tablets
[1], I wonder what we can do to collect all the development experience
with maguro/manta/grouper and put it out there, so it gets easier to
publish "community images" for these.

important for development. Not because I have one, because manta is a tablet
with 10-inch display. Manta is an ideal tablet for UT and, IMHO, development
must be continued until new Ubuntu 10-inch tablet.
