Hi Wayne, hopefully there will be a better solution implemented at some
point. For now, I've been making my devices writeable, syncing with
owncloud, /and/ enjoying over-the-air updates and updates to apps. I'm
not sure if this will change at some point, but for now it works. Note

I use the QY7 from Soundpeats (sold under several brand names), it's light, has
decent sound and Bluetooth 4.1.

Just updated oxide using the ppa below - no dice. I added the ppa via
add-apt-repository, updated the new packages available, and found:
1. My current ABC Radio webapp no longer produces sound
2. adding --enable-media-hub-audio in the .desktop file (Exec line)
doesn't produce sound either.

Hello Michael,
The library in the ppa (libosmscoutimport0) was first compiled without
libxml, but it should be now.
I suspect that you should update the library from the ppa, that way it
should work.
Both issues shouldn't be the case if you use the gui OSMScoutImport or
the script osmscout-import.
Great! I'm assuming this will work on vivid - trying now. I've heard
conflicting advice about enabling Oxide to hook into the media-hub api.
Is the right code to add to the desktop file -
--enable-media-hub-audio
Thanks.

My 2 cents worth - there needs to be some kind of facility for
developers to be emailed when a review hits their app, if they so wish.
I.e. - most of the time I'm not aware of someone leaving a review for
days, or even weeks. Come to think of it... a number of apps I've
probably not checked rev

This is now planned for the next 1.8 release, ie in the next 4 weeks.
However, you already have test packages available in
https://launchpad.net/~phablet-team/+archive/ubuntu/ppa to verify the
behavior of your webapp in that mode.
