Every phone I've had since at least 2002 has managed it, be it through POP or IMAP and notifications do work for Gmail, as well as the Open Store version of Dekko - well sort of. They don't look as good and crash Dekko. But they do notify. So I'm not asking for the impossible. If Canonical ha

That's sad news. The only, and default, email app is no longer supported on any Ubuntu device except possibly the tablet. I should have realized really, it hasn't been updated in nearly a year. Well I wish them luck, it was the best app on the phone. It is just a shame it was never fully work
