Every phone I've had since at least 2002 has managed it, be it through POP

version of Dekko - well sort of. They don't look as good and crash Dekko.
But they do notify.
So I'm not asking for the impossible. If Canonical ha

It works OK. But notifications have never worked, which means manually
opening and checking your email each and every time. Added to which Dekko
crashes, a lot, which means it can't really be left open.
As someone else recently pointed out, it has also changed the way that
accounts are added,

That's sad news. The only, and default, email app is no longer supported on
any Ubuntu device except possibly the tablet.
I should have realized really, it hasn't been updated in nearly a year.

different accounts, and sliding them to the right reveals the delete
button (the same way you can delete em

you cannot save your sent mails to the IMAP server, because the
configuration won't allow you to specify a save path on a different
account.
Coming to think of it, I believe it's been a LONG time since the last
update for Dekko. Does anyone know what the plan

Hello,
I'm preparing a new, fresh BQ E4.5 with OTA-14 for my son. He has a mail
account on my server with IMAP and SMTP access. When I create in Dekko a
new first account for him, Dekko is asking me if this is an IMAP or SMTP
account (and some other nonsense accounts like Gmail or Outlook). I'm
