Hello, everyone, I'm Ken Clive, and I am interested in contributing to QA
testing for the Ubuntu OS. My day job involves manual and automated unit
testing of mission-critical 4G cell site deployment software, and I would
like to extend my test skills and experience to open-source.
Being an Ubuntu
HW is the standard abbreviation for "Hardware". If you are unfamiliar with
installing any *nix OS maybe you should read the install guide for that OS.
I'd try Lubuntu first though, it's a supported variant of Ubuntu (but with LXDE
instead for its desktop environment).

How do I install SalentOS? What does HW stand for?
