Not more time today... It is not elegant, but it "survive" restarts... I
added it to an "application at startup" script I use from time to time,
which runs from /usr/local/bin with udiskctl commands to mount some
drives:
xrandr --newmode "1680x1050_60.00" 146.25 1680 1784 1960 2240 1050 10
Hi again:
I've got better results with:
beats@beatsPc:~$ cvt 1680 1050 60
# 1680x1050 59.95 Hz (CVT 1.76MA) hsync: 65.29 kHz; pclk: 146.25 MHz
Modeline "1680x1050_60.00" 146.25 1680 1784 1960 2240 1050 1053 1059
1089 -hsync +vsync
beats@beatsPc:~$ xrandr --newmode "1680x1050_60.00" 146.25 16
Hi:
I was able to set a higher resolution, following this steps:
sudo cvt -v 1280 960 60
sudo xrandr --newmode "1280x960_60.00" 101.25 1280 1360 1488 1696 960
963 967 996 -hsync +vsync
sudo xrandr --addmode VGA-1 1280x960_60.00
xrandr --output VGA-1 --mode 1280x960_60.00
Same method was tried
