I installed xinetd after swat. However, when I resinstall swat, I see
the message you refer to.
It's isn't at all helpful though. The Debian readme doesn't address the
problem.
The nowait.400 syntax doesn't match anything in the man page for
xinetd.conf and the man page for inetd.conf is now ...
The changelog is ok now, but the upload contains plenty of changes in
debian/ which are not appropriate for an SRU:
- you removed the previous hardy-updates changelog, and has plenty of other
changelogs from Debian
- debian/compat got bumped to 6
- still adds the build dependency heimdal-dev
-
This was fixed in nagios3 (upstream fixed the configure script so that
it no longer ignores --use-mail, no need to add mailx | mailutils as
build dep). I backport the fix for nagios2.

Here is the debdiff with the configure fix (backported from Nagios 3)
and fixup of the cfg-commands.cfg.diff file so that it doesn't break
with the new contents. Not sure this is SRU material though -- the
problem being in a configuration file, in an off-by-default
notification...

My attempt to upgrade hung at samba-common. After restarting the system

is no longer decoded properly (some keys send nothing, others
gibberish). Mouse still works.
This problem is critical in my opinion. If an upgrade can

The patch has been applied upstream and is in 2.4.10.
