Upgraded to mysql-server-5.0 package 5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.4
Mysqld won't start - results in segfault.
$ sudo sh -x ./mysql-server-5.0.postinst
The guys at rimuhosting.com had the issue partly solved
The error was caused by /lib/tls/i686 I have it removed and mysql now
runs successfully. see below
apt-get remove libc6-i686
--
mysql-server-5.0.postinst causes seg fault
