Hi Olray,
I am having the same problem with my actiTIME install. Can you give me
some guidance on setting up the symlink above? Did you create a symlink
to /usr/share/java/mysql-connector-bin.jar in the
usr/share/tomcat5.5/webapps/actitime/WEB-INF/lib directory? I don't have

Have been discussing this in the upstream bug. I'm still not sure of
the cause of the crash, but it appears to be possible to work around it
by rebuilding with --disable-pie - so this may be a bug in the toolchain
used to build the binaries.

Can you be more specific on this? Do you have snmpd running on all 35

It was still a problem on Intrepid until we stopped allowing ssh
sessions and switched to OpenVPN.
I still think it was either an OpenSSL or NAT problem.
Feel free to close this if you can't reproduce it.

Tried to reproduce the problem, installed a Gutsy in virtualbox, and
tried to connect to several different ssh servers (with different
versions), through double NAT (guest -> host -> linksys router) but they
all connected.

Tried the Intrepid version, looks like it works. Thanks.

Is this still a problem with newer releases (Hardy, Intrepid) ?
Because Edgy and Feisty are no longer supported, and Gutsy goes out of
support in 2 months, it's likely the bug won't be resolved ever if it's
not found in newer releases.

Thanks for the debdiffs. The dapper debdiff is incorrect and needs
several other commits so *data will actually contain what is needed.
Further, I tried to reproduce based on the Gentoo bug, but was unable to

No, I hadn't. This first happened when I updated from Hardy to
Intrepid, and all subsequent updates. In any case, I think the
configure script should handle this gracefully, and/or ask if the
slapd.conf should be migrated to slapd.d format.

I removed /etc/ldap/slapd.d, and `dpkg --configure slapd` crashed not
finding /var/run/slapd. I created that directory, and `dpkg --configure
slapd` completed.
One issue here is the assumption that I *want* to use the directory
structure instead of a slapd.conf file - but I'm supporting a client
