I was able to boot Server 2008 R2 and run with Maverick's seabios
bios.bin (0.6.0-0ubuntu1) file on Lucid on a 16 cpu (2/4/2) system
without a problem. I could not boot more than 4 cpus before with
Lucid's seabios (0.5.1-0ubuntu2).

connections to the DC? Does the ssh client respond to the escape
character (defaults to ~); that is, with the default configuration will
sending '~.' kill the connection? Does strace or ssh -vv (or more vs)

The packaging is cleaner and easier with the rc script running before sendsigs
(which is also an rc script). That way, the initscripts package/sendsigs
doesn't need to carry around special behavior for libvirt-bin and any other
packages that don't need this type of fix.

installation related to LP #639768, which has been fixed.

I can confirm that the firefox CVE-2009-3555 warnings go away once these
packages are installed on Lucid. Additionally, I tested that sasl and
dovecot still work as expected. Awesome. :)

The problem was that the euca2ools/__init__.py was doing:
iv = (hex(BN.rand(16 * 8,top=0)))[2:34]
then
unhexlify(iv)
But BN.rand(16*8) is not guaranteed to return a number that is
represented by 32 hex digits. I suspect that the .replace('L','c') was
added to get around this issue. By spec

This is most certainly an issue, if you remove dovecot-postfix in Lucid
server you cannot install it properly again.
Installation ends with the message:
* Restarting IMAP/POP3 mail server dovecot
Fatal: listen(0.0.0.0, 2000) failed: Address already in use
even using apt-get --purge remove
Is this the same as bug 392097?

I remember the issue now. The problem is that AppArmorSetSecurityHostdevLabel()

For lucid, Jelmer says that samba reloads the printers every 750 seconds
anyway, so it's just a matter of waiting. Changing the cups init script
to an upstart job is not an appropriate SRU.
