What's the maintenance story with libdumbnet? It is orphaned in Debian
and seems slightly bitrotten. For example, the configure check for
libcheck doesn't look in a multiarch directory (not that it matters, we
disregard test results, but it's a sign of negelect).

Could you please explain what you mean by "the box was dead"? Do you
mean that the input box was not accepting keyboard input?
Could you please run
sudo apt-get install -f
to try and complete the installation? If that doesn't work, then
sud
zerofree looks mostly good. Very small, no important bugs, mostly in
sync with Debian. But it needs a team bug subscriber for whomever is
going to look after it in Ubuntu.

I have 14 x Dell c6100 servers running ubuntu 12.04 Lts. Plus 2x
running ubuntu 10 lts (they work fine). Have been running fine for a
year. The systems are updated regularly. After a update + reboot they
fail to get a IP from the DHCP server.
In the syslog I see that the dhc

inadvertently changed the status from triaged to confirmed. I am unable
to change it back to triaged. Robie, could you please change the status
back to triaged?
Is there some reason why this has not gone anywhere? Earlier I proposed
I think the fix here is fairly simple: in maasserver.api.pxeconfig(),
when trying to boot a machine that we've not seen before, we should
consult BootImages before automatically defaulting to i386.
