I'm using current trusty in a VMware image and with linux 3.13 the
vmhgfs module doesn't work anymore. I use it to easily exchange files
between my Windows desktop and the VM.

My guess is the default container template is suppose to be the template
matching the default OS, which in this case is ubuntu.
Somehow this isn't being done.

Hum... Something is seriously amiss...
The log file says /var/lib/lxc/c1/config is being used, which is
incorrect... as /var/lib/lxc/c1 does note exist.
I'm guessing the config file associated with the container (test) should
be used, which is...
/var/lib/lxc/test/config (test instead of c1) + e
Hi, this is still happening to me. I close the lid of the acer aspire
One that that has an SD card in the storage expansion. This SD card
holds the /home drive. When I open the lid and hit any key it knows my
password and the home drive seems mounte only that it is empty.

I'm fighting with similar symptoms:
- Ubuntu (Saucy) guests created with VMBuilder don't boot successfully; instead
I get a grub prompt.
- qemu-system-x86 uses 100% CPU and 30MB RAM.
- Sometimes (but rarely) the problem magically disappears.

We have /var/lib/glance/images on an nfs share served from a netapp
filer. Netapp exports have .snapshot directories that are read only,
and the chown calls in glance-common's postinst fails on them.
I suggest changing chown -R to find -xdev ...

In /var/lib/dpkg/info/quota.postinst, in the "configure" case (line 126), quota
usage detection is weakly searched.
This is done so :
fs=`awk '/quota/ {print $2}' /etc/fstab`;
assuming the only presence of the word "quota" is meaning one wants to activate
quotas.
