One of the packages which are required by OpenVSwitch is: openvswitch-datapath-dkms But the 3.11 ubuntu kernel is not compatible with that package. You have to install openvswitch-datapath-lts-saucy-dkms instead. Check http://javacruft.wordpress.com/2014/03/03/which-open-vswitch/ for reference.
