Public bug reported:

Seems every time I start up my Ubuntu 12.04 machine this process continually
generates the following error in the log files (ad infinitum, until it fills up
the disk)

process 20018: arguments to dbus_message_iter_append_basic() were incorrect,
assertion "_dbus_check_is_valid_utf8 (*string_p)" failed in file
../../dbus/dbus-message.c line 2535.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.

This is with the following version:

 0.39-2ubuntu2~ubuntu12.04.1

Any help is appreciated.
