I upgarded ubuntu 1104 to ubuntu 1110 and got that error. In the past
I'd got that error with upgrade from, i mean, 1010 to 1104 and you could
helped me, because the rights to the directories were wrong.

Regression in Winbind: Cannot map SID-
s/map/resolve/
winbind 2:3.3.2-1ubuntu3 cannot resolve SID->UID. The mapping is there
in the AD, automatically created by the user-add script. However, the
new new version does not return UIDs any more. GIDs continue to work.
