Today installed security updates which contained a libvirt update. After
finishing the updates i found al my virtual machines were shutdown.
Previous libvirt updates did not shutdown running virtual machines.

I think the pinger is an optional component in Squid.
As a workaround it might help to set "pinger_enable off" in
/etc/squid3/squid.conf.

I'm having similar problems with this package on 2 different servers.
When updating, dpkg hangs on the post install script of the openssh-
server package. The process becomes defunct and stops responding.
I edited the /var/lib/dpkg/info/openssh-server.postinst file and adjusted set
-e to set -x t
This actually happened because of our use of vendordata, adding and
empty "cloud-init" entry to it solves the problem.

After installing drbd8-utils (2:8.4.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.2) the problem is solved
for me.

Thanks a lot, this fixed the problem.
It was probably my own fault - having deleted the tomcat folder
accidentially and only reinstallung the tomcat6-common packge. Sorry for
not reinstalling the dependency on my own.

I am still fighting Ubuntu1. It looks like it is working, but it is very
slow and the graphical interface does only show that it is active by
showing "synchronization in progress", no device name, no name, no
email, no Current plan information. Fighting this problem for many weeks

I have no idea. It was a normal "update" and this error occurs. It just
happened, so I don't know if there is a software component failing at
this time. I was not aware of any failure before.
