Hi, imho karmic is an intermediary release so we should think about pushing php 5.3.x into it. Also having php 5.3.x in karmic, will allow us get it more stable for the next LTS. More than this, php 5.2.9 is already in Debian testing, so moving up to 5.3.0 would be somehow synced with them. --
