good reason. In June 2006 the ISC promised to get rid of this wait but never

So, I have mud on may face... the version of dhcp3_client in Lucid is:
3.1.3-2ubuntu3. The version in the Red Hat bug isn't specified, but it
OK, confirmed from inspecting the code that this delay is not present.

In order for your patches to land in Hardy 8.04, they'd have to be
