This still occurs in 12.04:

This issue occurred for me installing nis after an upgrade from 10.10 to
11.04:
$ sudo aptitude install nis

Need to get 273 kB/382 kB of archive
I know this is a old bug but I experiencing the same issue. I am running
Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS 64 bit server and can't seem to find angriukas fix
for libvirt. Perhaps I am not looking hard enough any help would be
appreciated.

I am getting a similar error though it only happens for me when I
actually try to run an instance. Here is the exact command line and
error message.
$ euca-run-instances emi-67DC1321 -k mykey
Warning: failed to parse error message from AWS: :1:0: syntax error
EC2ResponseError: 403 Forbidden

Sorry for the double post. I posted this to bug #428010 but Etienne
suggested this might be a better place for it.
I am getting a similar error to this one, here is the exact command line
and error message.

Hello, after purging my existing nginx packages (all of them, nginx-*)
and installing nginx-extras, the Auth Request module was not enabled.
On the package description, this is one of the modules provided. After
compiling nginx myself I was able to enable the Auth Request mod
I confused the Debian package with the Ubuntu package, my apologies.
Could this be changed into a request for Auth Request to be included in
nginx-extras? Or shall I file a new bug?
