boot/startup we have in karmic. affected too with this bug. need a

Public bug reported:
may be due to not enough free space on my hard-drive. only 200 - 300 mbs
were free when it crashed. I freed some space upto 1 GB and marked it
for re-installation using synaptic package manager and it worked.
