Public bug reported: Please consider upgrading ipmitool to 1.8.12 for the next Ubuntu release.
1.8.11 has been out for 3 years now. 1.8.12 has numerous bug fixes and includes the new DELL OEM commands for the 12G PowerEdge Servers. The ChangeLog is pretty big so I'm including it as an attachment.
