Thanks for reporting this bug.  The lxc installation and upgrades failed
because of the lxc-net upstart job not starting.  I notice you are
running a custom kernel, perhaps with selinux enabled, which may or may not
be affecting this.

Could you please try manually doing

ifconfig -a
route -n
brctl show
sudo start lxc-net

and showing the results of those, as well as anything found in
/var/log/upstart/lxc-net* ?

 status incomplete
 importance medium
