Updated to Ubuntu 14.04 today. Installation baulked. Error ambiguous but
suggested it might be a 3rd party repository but none were enabled.
Alternatively it suggested that I run "sudo apt install -f" in terminal.
The following was the error...
~$ sudo apt-get install -f

I had not used this computer for a long time. The computer has turned
off unexpectedly. I was told that this might be due to overheating.
So, I have not used it for a long time. The software updates were many,
360MB about. So, maybe there are too many updates to install now.
