Public bug reported: There is evidence in both the trusty and utopic versions of curtin that swraid support is on its way, but it appears to only think raid0 is needed/desirable, at least thus far.
Installing machines that lack cciss (and therefore hardware raid) under MAAS, we would still like to have RAID1. I can see other uses where RAID5 or RAID10 might be a useful thing. ** Affects: curtin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to curtin in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1356392 Title: lacks sw raid1 install support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curtin/+bug/1356392/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
