Public bug reported: I want to disable the notifications for date and time because they take too much space on the status line. However, unticking them via 'F9 -> Toggle status notifications' does not make them go away. All other notifications do not show up when I untick them in the dialog.
In ~/.byobu/status I see 'date' and 'time' as deactivated for the active 'tmux_right' setting. My current workaround involves editing ~/.byobu/datetime.tmux and setting those variables to "". I have Ubuntu 14.04.1 and byobu 5.77-0ubuntu1.2. My default shell is set to fish if that makes a difference (it does for vundle). ** Affects: byobu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to byobu in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1357877 Title: cannot disable date and time notification To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/byobu/+bug/1357877/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
