Hello Michael, or anyone else affected, Accepted qemu into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/2.0.0+dfsg- 2ubuntu1.8 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
