Can you capture some more verbose output with "ssh -vvvX [EMAIL PROTECTED] "firefox" and post the verbose debug here (scrubbed if necessary)? Additionally, when you launch a shell, can you make absolutely sure that you're on the remote machine (compare the difference between ifconfig on the local
