This is just the issue with likewise-winbindd not restarting properly on
reboot. This is fixed in inrepid packages and needs to be backported to
Hardy I think (may already have been).

All authorization and authentication for domain joins are handled by AD,
so, there is absolutely no way that likewise open could allow an
unauthorized user to join a domain. It, in fact, just passes the
request on to AD.
