Public bug reported: scp and sftp cannot get a filename named "South Park - 10x08 - Make Love, Not Warcraft [ Subtitulado.al.Castellano] [By.Tetsu].avi", but when I renamed to "South Park - 10x08 - Make Love, Not Warcraft [ Subtitulado.al.Castellano", they can.
scp and sftp show the same error when file has "]" character: File [...] not found. But sftp's remote renaming, moving, and more still working. Commands used: $: sftp [EMAIL PROTECTED] sftp> get "South Park - 10x08 - Make Love, Not Warcraft [ Subtitulado.al.Castellano] [By.Tetsu].avi" File "/home/mluser/incoming/South Park - 10x08 - Make Love, Not Warcraft [ Subtitulado.al.Castellano] [By.Tetsu].avi" not found. sftp> rename "South Park - 10x08 - Make Love, Not Warcraft [ Subtitulado.al.Castellano] [By.Tetsu].avi" "South Park - 10x08 - Make Love, Not Warcraft [ Subtitulado.al.Castellano" sftp> get "South Park - 10x08 - Make Love, Not Warcraft [ Subtitulado.al.Castellano" (And works!) ** Affects: openssh (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- scp cannot quoted filenames with "]" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/267980 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openssh in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
