Why it's wont fix??
You should provide a separate qemu-kqemu package what can be used with kqemu!!!
KVM is great, and you right, that it should be the default, but for us,
who don't have cpu support for kvm, kqemu is an other (and only) option
to make things really faster, than user mode qem
You can install qemu-kvm on a system without KVM. You will be running
with qemu emulation.
