I have that file alright. My guess is that you removed manually the file and
confused the conffile handling at one point. Then purging "likewise-open5"
doesn't clean up since the file is installed by likewise-open5-eventlog.
Please try "sudo apt-get purge likewise-open5-eventlog" and "sudo apt-ge
Can you confirm that the file /etc/likewise-open5/eventlogd.conf
actually got created during the install?
I tried using the 'remove completely' option in synaptic before doing a
fresh install again. Same deal, no evenlogd.conf file got copied.
I then did an apt-get remove, followed by an apt-get
Works for me using "apt-get install".
Can you reproduce it on purge/reinstall ?
