Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apache2

Hello,

Kubuntu version: 9.10 (upgraded from 9.04)
Apache version:
  If I run "apache2 -v" I get this:
  Server version: Apache/2.2.12 (Ubuntu)
  Server built: Aug 18 2009 13:02:37

Problem:
-----------
In this version of apache2, I notice the EXACT error raised here for a much
earlier version:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=256510

The above bug says it can't be reproduced in 2.2.x (from March 2008). My
web host is dreamhost and I asked them what version of Apache they have
because I am not seeing the bug there, either. They report Apache/2.2.11
(Unix)

I don't know much about this stuff, but I suspect some kind of
regression somehow. Not sure if this is a Ubuntu thing or an Apache
thing. I tried looking for this issue in apache's bug database but
couldn't find it. Furthermore they need any bugs logged against the
latest version (2.2.14). I am too unfamiliar with Linux/apache to
install it manually and my set up is kinda important not to screw around
and I'd prefer to install via the Ubuntu packages to avoid further
complication, which has version 2.2.12.

Please let me know if you need any further info.
