Public bug reported: I noticed that this file is missing from the samba package (it was present in the package for oneiric). The result is that I cannot use the "Samba" app to configure the firewall ports using ufw.
I tried to search other packages but so far I couldn't find /etc/ufw/applications.d/samba somewhere else. Have a nice day :) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: samba 2:3.6.3-2ubuntu2.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-24.37-generic 3.2.14 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-24-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu7 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun May 6 14:45:22 2012 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Beta i386 (20110413) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: samba UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-04-21 (15 days ago) ** Affects: samba (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995465 Title: File /etc/ufw/applications.d/samba is missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/995465/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
