I think the interface doesn't matter much, unless it (usb?) uses a lot of
cpu...
Of course, USB audio is not as good as firewire. But I think it should be
just fine.

Hello, first post here, but a long-time audio engineer.
A friend of mine just got me started with Ardour. Honestly, I haven't
found anything not to like about it yet (except for a couple
non-standard edit aspects). It is very powerful and as far as I can
tell, it is as complete as I could expect i

I suggest using and getting to know both Ardour and Audacity. And if, when
you're done, you still don't see why Ardour is better, then it probably
won't matter to you anyway. Use whatever you like best.

I really don't understand what makes ardour an inevitable option Except the
automation a control and a few plugins Its all the same.Like I am a beginner

tracks, quality or control. It may have a couple nice features, but ove
