i'm using M-Audio Fast Track Pro and works fine. You can configure
easy with jack control and use ardour and all the aplication that use
jackd without problems.

I install Windows RC on one drive, then swapped the boot order to an
unused drive and installed Ubuntu on that drive.
This has given me dual-boot out of the box.
Shame to here about other peoples experiences

I put up a new youtube video showing me messing around with jack..
This is the process of getting this to work:
1. run QT Jack Control (icon looks like a phono plug).
2. start hack from the Jack Control.
3. Go into a terminal window and type
fluidsynth -o synth.polyphony=1024 \

I just put it up last night.. BTW, gtk-recordmydesktop permits one to use
jack to connect to any audio outputs to be included in a screencast, that's
what I'm doing here.
