Simon, I am far from one of the experts here, so they may have better info, but this is what I see: jackd... is starting Jack1, I think you need to run Jack2 for firewire, which may need to be compiled. I run a PreSonus FireStudio 26x26 on firewire which needs FFADO and Jack2 compiled from
