it's the first thing you have to check with lsusb.
Then you can test it into alsa/pulse-audio settings by using the sound
controller at the top right of your screen.

Hi everyone,I've just a M audio fast Track usb soud card which is well
detected by the system but but no sound is coming out my speakers. Maybe
users of this card cann to me how they set it up.

I am pretty sure you have checked but anyway:
I also use the M- audio Fast Track usb with Ubuntu and the Gnome
desktop ( not ubuntu studio but i am sure it makes no difference).
So did you change the sound properties and select the usb device for
